A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides the highest level of outpatient care — offering a structured, full-day treatment environment (typically 5–6 hours per day, 5–7 days per week) while allowing you to return home in the evenings. PHP is designed as a clinically intensive bridge between inpatient care and standard outpatient therapy.
PHP at Rize OC serves California residents with in-person programming in Orange County and a fully virtual PHP option statewide. We combine individual therapy, group therapy, medication management, and psychoeducation for individuals stepping down from residential care, managing acute symptoms, or needing more support than weekly therapy provides.
PHP is clinically indicated when standard outpatient therapy is insufficient but 24/7 inpatient care is not required. For California clients, our PHP delivers intensive structure while preserving your connection to home, family, and community.
